Lightning Tree

Founded in 1992, Lightning Tree has established itself as a trusted leader in professional tree care services across Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parish. Our founder, Wayne Woodworth, began his career training with Asplundh Tree Services in the 1980s, gaining hands-on expertise from groundman to foreman roles before launching our company. With over 30 years of experience and thousands of trees removed, we specialize in delivering fast, safe, and comprehensive solutions for both residential and commercial clients. Our team of certified arborists is licensed, insured, and equipped with industry-leading tools, including knuckle booms, bucket trucks, and backyard stump grinders, ensuring efficient service for projects of all sizes. We prioritize customer communication, providing detailed explanations of each tree removal process while maintaining a commitment to environmental sustainability through wood recycling programs.

Our services extend beyond basic tree care to include lightning protection systems, land clearing, and specialized care for heritage trees like live oaks. By maintaining all necessary equipment in-house, we eliminate delays and guarantee prompt service execution. As a locally owned business, we offer competitive pricing and personalized discounts for senior citizens and veterans. Our dedication to quality is reflected in our extensive training programs for staff and our ability to handle complex tree health assessments, pest infestations, and emergency removals. Whether you require routine pruning or urgent storm damage response, our team combines technical expertise with a customer-first approach to ensure complete satisfaction.
