Got hired for an Expert Witness case in Nebraska!
Oregon white oaks ice damage NW Salem area. Two properties. Made recommendations for actions and rated risk levels and priorities. Trying to keep as much of the trees as possible knowing the destruction the weight of ice caused. Driving the roads were still a mess of broken and downed trees.
Ice damaged oak trees in Woodburn, OR. The PGE work post next door had hellish tree damage. Any trees with defects failed, pines toppled, just massive destruction from the storm. I-5 east from Clackamas to Silverton got absolutely hammered by ice storm. So many trees destroyed. So many people out of power.
Got paid to consult down in Otter Rock, OR. Spent some time by Devil's Churn. Storm coming in , the air was cold and blowing. Got home before the winter event hits.
Snow damaged pine tree, we pruned and lifted to stop the root ball failure. Client was happy.
