John Steele began his career with Lowe's before founding G&S in 1990. G&S found its niche providing supplies for the exterior side of the construction business - including roofing, siding, windows, gutters and other elements that go on the outside of buildings. As the construction business began to flourish, the natural evolution was to provide these same services to homeowners.
