Located in the rural community of Somerset in Somerset County Pennsylvania, Baker's Home & Garden Center has been a family owned and operated business since 1962. We specialize in home dcor, candles, silk flowers, seasonal decorations, Amish crafted furniture, flowering annual baskets, landscape plants, and landscape materials. The expansive retail store, attached greenhouse, and sprawling outdoor plant display area offer plenty to explore during your visit. With easy access from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Route 219, and Route 31, getting here is simple.

Your home's landscape will really stand out with the addition of a few trees or shrubs. Whether you intend to plant a privacy hedge or draw the eye to architectural details by adding specimen plants, the staff at Baker's can help you find the perfect plant. Maybe you're looking to add edibles to your landscape. We offer an abundant selection of fruit trees and berry plants. Many of our plants are sold in a do-it-yourself, homeowner-friendly size. The majority of our shrubs come in 3-gallon containers and trees in 5-gallon containers.

When all the hard work of gardening and landscaping is finished, spruce up your yard by using garden accessories. Create a bird friendly garden by adding bird baths, bird houses, or a bird feeder. Baker's also carries accessories, such as garden stakes, small wind spinners, and assorted resin garden figures and pottery. We offer a wide variety of concrete statuary as well. Why not add a touch of whimsy to your garden by adding an American-made, handblown glass gazing globe. Baker's manufactured and distributed these glass gazing globes from the mid-1980s to the early 2000s.

Complete your home with a braided or woven rug. Baker's selection of rugs fit any decor style from country to shabby chic. Our rugs are crafted with 100% natural jute fiber or 100% cotton. Many are reversible and are available in a wide range of shapes, colors, and sizes (24 to 60 inches in length and 12 to 36 inches in width). We offer rectangular, oval, round, elongated oval, and dog bone shaped rugs, as well as stair treads. Most of our rugs are available for special order, so don't hesitate to ask!
