Our Turf Care Program is based off of a six application process for the year. Each application is designed to address the weeds that thrive in that particular time frame. We approach every lawn on a case by case basis to see what the unique issues are and the best way to handle them. We also can conduct soil samples on lawns where there is an issue with grass not growing in certain areas.

What's new?

Warm moist conditions activate the Brown Patch, Dollar Spot and other turf fungus. I believe it will be earlier this season simply because of weather conditions. When I see it, I'll post it. If you see it start in your yard, I can treat it.

Due to all the extra rain and warm temperatures we have started the regular mowing schedule, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Because of the wet ground we are being extra careful to avoid areas or skip entire yards if the mowers will do more damage than good. We will use a small push mower whenever we can to mitigate damage or ruts.

At this stage in the spring season, with the nighttime temperatures rising, we find ourselves on the topic of the fungus among us. Brown patch, also know as dollar spot, will begin to wreak havoc in fescue lawns all over East Tennessee. Left untreated this disease will spread throughout your yard...
