I contracted Sharam to paint my garage, install fans, install new recessed lights, build custom closets, and do all sorts of electrical and carpentry work and I am very happy with the results. His crew was super professional, kind and their work exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Mattress & Carpet Center for renovation and general services.

Sharam and his team were excellent to work with a provided quick and courteous service. We had our floors refinished and they did a wonderful job at a very reasonable price. Our floors look great and I cannot wait to show them off. Recommend Sharam for any flooring needs.

I've known Sharam for years, I think he's been in business since the 80's. He started out with selling mattress and carpet and has outlasted 3 other such stores on Duke st that have all gone out of business. Not him! This says something. Also, he does remodeling such as floors, bathrooms etc. Don't let the name fool you....he does more than just mattress and carpets. Thanks for the nice Brazilian Cherry wood floor your guys did a while back, great job!

We needed to replace our area rug prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, and had initially gone to Lowes. However, even with enough advanced planning, they screwed up our order. With their mistake, our carpet would not have made it in time for the holiday dinner so we canceled our order.
A quick internet search led us to Mattress & Carpet Center where we were pleasantly surprised! From the professional customer service to the selections available and to the promise we would have our carpet in time for Thanksgiving, we decided to purchase our rug from them. Imagine our further surprise when we got a call later that afternoon letting us know our carpet was ready! In addition to all the other positive experiences, we ended up saving money by going with them.

I rarely write reviews for anything, but I'm thrilled with the customer service we received at Mattress & Carpet Center. My husband and I went in last weekend looking for a guest bedroom mattress. My parents are coming this weekend, so we were kind of scrambling to find something quality, without paying through the nose. They were having a sale, and we were shown several options, all of which were in our price range. We never felt like we were being upsold, and we were promised (free) delivery two days later. We were given a two-hour delivery window, which I'm always skeptical of. The delivery guys showed up 15 minutes early, and were done unloading and setting up the mattress, box spring, and frame within about 20 minutes. They were great. I really can't say enough about how happy we are with the mattress and customer service.

This is the ONLY place to buy a mattress in the DC area! Sharam is a lifesaver. I called after a company in Fairfax messed up our delivery then wouldn't talk to us until 24-48 hours AFTER the wrong mattress got back to the Warehouse. Sharam promised me a right sized mattress within the hour, and it showed up early!!! Awesome customer service. Don't go anywhere else! No headache, No Hassle, a promise over the phone was THE BEST MOMENT of my day. Thank you SO very much. My daughter has a place to sleep tonight!

We've bought hardwood floors, carpet and a mattress from Sharam over the last 10 years. The floors and carpet still look great. He gave me the best mattress price from the outset, took me 10 minutes to get a bed after spending hours researching/mutiple visits negotiating prices at Sleepys and Mattress Discounters.

Ok so I recently moved from Los Angeles to DC and needed a new bed ASAP cause it just made no sense to have my old one shipped across the country. I looked online and even visited a few places but Mr. Sharam's great reviews brought me to his store and for good reason. This is absolutely the best place to get a bed in town, you just can't beat the price and quality, but most importantly the service. Mr. Sharam was able to get us a new bed, at a reasonable price, without being pushy or using those terrible salesman tactics. Delivery was smooth and timely just like he promised.
A few weeks later we needed carpet for a project we working on and he once again managed to wow us with his service. I went out to his store, chose the carpet I liked, he had someone come out and do an estimate the following day, and installed it on the date we requested without any hiccups. The quality and craftsmanship was superior and we will definitely be using him again in the future. It was an absolute dream working with Mr. Sharam and his team.

We live in Cameron Station - Alexandria, va. Sharam is great to work with . They carpeted our entire home and did a beautiful job. Very professional and easy to work with. We have them installing carpet in our condo in Annapolis next weekend.

Wow! What a great customer experience and great carpet. I had my entire downstairs carpeted and my own runner was installed too. It turned out that the installer missed the center of the steps so Mr. Shahaghi came out for a look and sent out another person to re-install it. IT WAS MY CARPET!
What a great experience. His price was higher than others than other carpets I had looked at but I liked him, didn't think he was trying to "sell" me and I got a good education while I was making my selection...in my house. I am very pleased with what I picked and know that it will last a long, long time. Thank you very much. BY ALL MEANS DO BUSINESS HERE. I am positive that I got a higher quality carpet than I had been considering elsewhere.
