Over 15 years ago, the GoldenRule brand started as a simple lawn aeration service operated by John Young. In comes Scott Young, John's younger brother and the owner of GoldenRule Lawn Solutions today. Like his older brother, Scott took an interest in lawn care services too.

Talking with our customers, many are hesitant to be bound by an annual lawn care contract. Our GoldPlan allows for a simple and flexible program that is tailored to your lawns' specific needs. The program is simple; we have an agreement to come treat your lawn 6 times a year. If you decide to cancel or skip a service, simply let us know. No charge, no hassle. Our goal is to keep you happy not through a written contract, but rather through a service that is so impressive you'll be looking forward to each time we treat your lawn.

GoldenRule's Shrub and Tree Program provides your trees & shrubs with the needed treatments to grow strong and healthy throughout the year. Our Shrub and Tree Program proudly uses products that are 100% organic and bio-nutritional products, which assists in strong plants and resistance to diseases and insect damage by building up the microbiological life in and around your landscaping. This in turn helps promote root development and nutrient uptake, creating healthier trees and shrubs and a nutrient rich environment for the plants to grow in.

Core aeration should be performed at least once yearly for all lawns, in the spring and/or fall. Aerating improves your lawn's health and beauty, optimizes root development, and reduces thatch and associated problems. It also deepens your lawn's root system for greater resistance to disease, insects, drought, and heat stress. Fertilizing and over-seeding are often performed in conjunction with core aeration, allowing the fertilizer and seeds to penetrate deep into the soil.

Based on the condition of your lawn, we can offer multiple ways to renovate, redo, and or repair your lawn. And once renovated we can manage your lawn to ensure your investment into your lawn lasts. Sod installation is the quickest way to achieve a beautiful, healthy lawn. The process includes removing the current lawn, preparing the area, bringing in new soil if needed, then laying the sod. Sod gives a yard instant results. Other benefits to sod include resistance to weeds, diseases, and pest infestations.
