D & B General Contractors, Inc. has been in business for 25 years. It was started in 1988 by David Lafferty as a renovation company. David is a master carpenter by trade and the company quickly became an approved prime contractor for the City of Philadelphia. The core business then was total renovation and historical preservation of city townhomes. In the mid to late 1990's we entered into development and new home construction. The idea was to always keep the business "Custom" not cookie cutter homes.
