R.B. Robinson Contracting is seeking an experienced CDL driver who is confident with manual and semi-automatic transmissions. Experience with a tractor-trailer/lowboy and familiarity with heavy machinery are significant pluses. We are looking for long-term teammates who have the right experience. R.B. Robinson is seeking experienced personnel with the following skill sets: Heavy equipment operators (excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, etc.) Construction laborers.
We are a family-owned and run business, established in 1967 by R. Bron Robinson. Bron's original specialty was ponds primarily serving agricultural and recreational customers. R.B. Robinson Contracting incorporated in 1974 with Bron in charge of the field operations and Hannah Robinson (or soon-to-be Robinson back in '74) managing the books. Since then we have been providing grading, excavating and underground installation services to upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania. The business expanded over time and Bron and Hannah's sons Brad and Will run day to day operations since Bron and Hannah's well-deserved retirement.
We provide ground-down construction services for the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pennsylvania serving the agricultural, industrial, and housing markets. We can also haul materials in our dump truck fleet or oversized loads on our lowboy trailer. Our four-bay shop on Route 96B just north of Candor, New York, provides maintenance and keeps the fleet moving.
