Concrete faces many obstacles due to environmental and manmade. The extreme temperatures cause freeze damage, surface pitting, cracking, or shifting. Patching and crack repair restore the concrete back to its intended use and protects it from future damage. Some customers after they have restored their concrete will use other restoration methods to protect it which includes concrete protective coatings.

Concrete protective coatings will enhance and protect the concrete after you have restored it from previous damage. Concrete floors are porous and tend to create dust from wear and tear. This process provides protection to the slab from future deterioration or contamination. Individuals must rely on knowledgeable people whether it be architects, contractors, or engineers to choose the most effective material and application that will provide the best performance for a cost-effective price. You must evaluate surface, look at the use of the area to be coated, and then select a product.

In order to maintain water penetration, moisture wicking, damage resulting from the freeze/thaw process, some projects will require caulking. Other projects that could require caulking is lentils above windows and doors. P&G will match your color as closely as possible to existing or the customer will choose the color they wish. This caulking repair should be done by a professional contractor who has considerable experience to ensure that it is a smooth process that looks professional.

When a masonry project is completed, P&G will combine the project with a waterproofing procedure to ensure effects of water entering and damaging your structure in the future. Water damage can have lasting effects on your property. Waterproof coatings seal the surface from liquid water and from water vapor. They are usually opaque, or pigmented, and include bituminous coatings and some elastomeric paints and coatings. P&G ensures that all the precautions listed in the Material Safety Data Sheets are followed and that they are always available to the customer when asked.

Mortar joints in brick, block, or stone will only last for so long. It is one of the most common repairs by mason contractors. When it starts deteriorating it should be fixed professionally. This process involves removing the old mortar to the proper depth, removing any broken or cracked brick, block, or stone, replacing with new as closely as possible to existing, and matching the new mortar as closely as possible to existing. This process will leave you with a project that will compliment your masonry for years to come.
