Our Company has been involved in a variety of preservation projects in and around the South Carolina Low Country, including sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places, historic churches and civic buildings, and private plantations and residences.
Richard Marks Restorations Inc. began in 1985 to provide a qualified resource for persons seeking advice or services concerning the stabilization, preservation, restoration and conservation of historic buildings and sites. We realize that there are many levels of restoration. Each project is unique, with its own set of priorities and programs. Our mission is to respond with sensitivity to their historic fabric and the desires of their owners. That's why we partner with some of the finest preservation architects, interior designers, and landscape architects in the business. We also offer in-house design services, should you prefer, along with fine furniture restoration and reproduction. Our ability to "read" your historic structure comes from years of practical experience in the field.
