We also are a design-bid-build general contractor, which means we handle the complete construction portion of a project after the client has architectural design and engineering documents in hand. We are affiliated with Nucor Building Systems, a leading manufacturer of metal building systems for the industrial, commercial, warehouse, civic and agricultural sectors. Fox promises to deliver the best possible products. That's why we use Nucor. We have consistently been one of their top volume builders, which means we have decades of successful experience.
Fox Building Company has been consistently recognized as one of the top metal building contractors in America by Metal Construction News. As a matter of fact, we have received numerous awards and recognitions. Terry Fox served for several years on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors before becoming Board Chairman. He was also nominated for the national Board of Directors of ABC. Terry currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Council for Quality Growth, an Atlanta region wide organization that promotes responsible development and growth.
For more than three decades we have worked with general contractors across the region on numerous complex and demanding furnish and erect contracts. We have an excellent safety record. All members of our Fox Building crews participate in ongoing education and training, including weekly "Tool box" safety meetings and periodic in-house safety seminars. Our workers are certified in structural steel construction, fall protection, equipment operation, first aid and CPR. They have completed the OSHA 30-hour course in construction.
