Larry Sumrall began in the construction business in 1971. The first four years were spent constructing custom built home in the Laurel-Jones County area of Mississippi. In 1975, the company began bidding commercial projects such as schools and other public buildings. By the early 1980's, the company decided to pursue projects in Alabama and Louisiana and went through the extensive process of being licensed to perform work in those states. We also decided to pursue industrial projects in addition to the commercial business that was successfully in place.
Larry J. Sumrall Contractors provides general contracting, design build, construction management and emergency response services with the intent to surpass the expectations of our clients. To ensure projects meet these expectations we work from day one to provide the best quality, safety and value through teamwork with the Owner, Subcontractors, and Suppliers. We are a family owned and oriented company that believes once you become a client, you are part of the family. Larry Sumrall made it a point that first time clients became future clients through providing the best quality projects on time and within budget.
