Construction was always a fascinating activity for founder, John Egger. He can recall sitting on a curb at the age of seven, watching a hospital being built a few blocks away from his home in upstate New York. The men walking the structural steel captivated him. One of the highlights of John's youth was working for a local excavating company through high school and college. Construction wasn't work, it was fun. When he was twenty-one years old he made a trip to Texas to visit some friends. While visiting, he received a job offer doing oil field construction.
EBCO has built numerous industrial construction projects in Texas and Alabama. We are experienced in tilt wall construction and pre-engineered metal buildings, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, warehouses, airplane hangars, and administrative spaces. The large Texas-based company, DW Distribution, has entrusted us with multiple projects. We've built manufacturing facilities in our own backyard, in Cameron, Texas, and in Prattville, Alabama. This morning at the site of the newest CEFCO Convenience Stores in Waco, TX, a 30,000 gallon double walled fuel tank was installed. The store's foundation will be put in place this week, and the building will be going vertical shortly after. Thanks to everyone on site for their coordination and hard work!
It's a beautiful day in Tucson, and the job site of the Home2 Suites and Hampton Inn hotel is a busy place. EIFS is being completed under the black netting and roofing at the pool deck is being put in place. It won't be long before you can find us enjoying a nice summer day at their pool!
