Established in 1981, Carty General Contracting has been building and remodeling professionally in the greater Whittier area for nearly three decades. Family owned and operated, our Whittier general contractor company has grown under the management of President Donald B. Carty. Don was born and raised in the city of Whittier, where he also married had three children and still resides in the city with his wife and youngest son. Don founded Carty General Contracting after studying Industrial Design at California State University of Long Beach and has since been joined by his two older sons in the operation of the business.

In addition to the architectural services, we have ensured that our team of architects is set-up in such a way that the project team members who start a project stay with it to the end. This helps to ensure consistent management within a design environment and, we have found, also encourages increased collaboration and communication between the architects and our on-site project managers.

Our designs are all produced in-house by our group of talented architects which can be quite beneficial if the need to change or redesign an aspect of your project arises.
