Our philosophy is to perform beyond the client's expectations, so that we will be called back when services are needed again. We value building long-term relationships, and the majority of our business is built on a repeat basis with a select list of clients. A successful project means we have met and exceeded the owner's goals. By establishing a close working relationship with the owner and architect during the design phases of the project, we provide valuable insight to the team. We analyze different proposed building systems for constructability and economy, weighing the systems against the intent of the design and the owner's needs.
Brockamp & Jaeger, Inc. was founded in 1963 when John Brockamp and LeRoy Jaeger decided to build a company based on their mutual desire to excel in the delivery of construction services. Over four decades have passed and the company's original building philosophies are still strongly in place, building quality projects with integrity. In 1985, Terry Greenman became an active partner in the firm. Terry's contribution to the company includes educational, healthcare and industrial facilities, building on our solid experience with commercial and church projects.
We believe in a team approach. A project is most successful when the owner, design team and general contractor working together, the project benefits from our combined input. As a team we review project documents for constructability and completeness, and provide suggestions for proven alternate methods and materials suitable for the project. Through early involvement in the design phases of the project, we assist our clients by developing preliminary budgets as the drawings progress to ensure the project stays on track financially.
Green building is an iniative that utilizes building design, construction, waste management, and operation to help reduce human impacts on the environment while fostering healthy and comfortable communities. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED, provides for third party review according to a standardized rating system of a building to certify that it was designed and built using strategies that will reduce the environmental impact of the structure. The design process for green building is integrative and changes drastically from project to project; this requires a committed and innovative team of professionals to properly execute and complete LEED certification.
