Serving the Willamette Valley and Portland area in Oregon since 1987, The Grant Company Inc. is a reputed design-build commercial general contractor. Over the past thirty-plus years in business, we've found ourselves in a unique niche, mostly building amazing one-of-a-kind buildings like churches and wineries, but also building lots of practical buildings like farm stores and storage buildings for our winery customers. Our staff includes project managers and business accountants who operate integrated estimating and accounting software for efficient and professional management results.

We believe that design-build partnerships are the best option for both the customer and the contractor. Almost 85% of the projects we work on are negotiated. The contractor does not have to build in the additional expenses for taking the risk of a hard bid while the customer gets more work done for less money by not having to pay for that risk. We work with the customer and the design team during the design stage, providing input regarding costs and constructability. This saves time and money because our input is used by the architect and engineers to design a building that fits within the customer's budget and prevents re-doing the plans multiple times.
