Mold isn't a bad word, all homes have mold. Mold becomes a problem when it is not dormant, when visible and is causing property damage. Mold testing can help to find the root cause of the mold so that it can be removed.

All home inspections include electronic reports and photos. Home inspection services are competitively priced and based on the square footage of each home. When the inspection is complete, I will provide you with detailed comments about each part of the structure.

Choosing a member of ASHI ("American Society Of Home Inspectors") is a smart move! Members must follow a Standards of Practice, a Code of Ethics and must continue their education on a yearly basis. An ASHI Inspector has achieved the highest certification possible and tested under the guidelines of the NCCA. There are no federal regulation that govern home inspectors. Laws differ from state to state. Maryland is a state that requires a state home inspector license. Therefore it is important to interview your inspector or inspection company.

The General Home Inspection will take 3-4 hours, depending on the size, age and condition of the home. We use new updated inspection software that gives my clients detailed colored pictures, some taken with a drone, a summary page or pages of the homes story. There will be a room to room break down of all components, electrical, plumbing or structural. I encourage all buyers to be available to attend the inspection, as showing is better than telling. I will work with you to schedule the inspection when it suits you best.
