Gleman & Sons has over 150,000 board feet of material and over 300 Live Edge Slabs. We carry over 40 species of wood and our lumber yard is open to the public. We are able to fill commercial orders or help find the best material for smaller projects, while helping customers remain on budget. Our custom woodworking services are performed here locally in Sanford, FL. Each project is hand crafted from start to finish and given the finest attention to detail and craftsmanship. Each woodworker is skilled and builds their projects with pride.

We recently ordered a custom mantlepiece from Gleman & Sons. I was more than impressed with their warehouse and showroom. Their selection of wood is exceptional - reclaimed barn wood, large live edge pieces, many species in a wide array of sizes. Admittedly we did not know much about the benefits of the different types of wood, only the dimensions we would need it to be in. Nicole immediately stepped in and helped us navigate our way around - asking us questions about what we needed and what we liked in order to narrow it down. We finally selected a piece and they took all of our information. The whole process was friendly, informative and could not have gone better. We know that quality work does not happen overnight, and Nicole did a great job communicating with us throughout the process. When the piece we had selected turned out to not work for our dimensions they called to let us know, explaining our options and asking how we wanted to proceed. In the end, I have to say, the craftsmanship of our mantlepiece is exquisite and we could not be happier with the product. It's beautiful. We will definitely be returning in the future for more custom products.
Had a very positive experience! I went in to look at reclaimed wood for a small project and ended up there for awhile checking out their huge selection. The staff is very helpful and clearly there's a lot of talent there. I'll be back!
