The clients were in the process of retiring and wanted to downsize their footprint in San Francisco and spend more time at their ranch. Having lived in their Victorian home for many years they were ready for something fresh. Taking the ground level and turning it into their pied-a-terre they wanted the opposite of the Victorian aesthetic choosing to go clean and modern. I treated the space like a boat with everything built in to minimize clutter. After telling my friend his sofas looked like something an old lady would have he agreed to rework some spaces in his Victorian flat.

I am a San Francisco Bay Area based designer with a diverse background in architectural and interior design. Whether engaged in a new construction, remodel project or helping a client redecorate their well-loved home, my goal is to provide a carefully crafted design that can be implemented within the client's time frame, economic goals, and desired style. Each project becomes personal as I develop the client's vision along with my aesthetic for rooms that are pared down, thoughtful and functional to their needs.
