Finishing Touches has primarily been a word of mouth custom stairway carpentry business for the last 25 years. As times have changed, so has our company. We have begun to explore other possibilities of materials and our skills. Not to say we are leaving stairs in the dust, we are allowing ourselves to explore and learn and create. Our crew is made up of a unique bunch of crazy Whitmores. We've learned to feed off of each other's creativity and expand one anothers horizons. As you may notice by exploring this site our work tends to veer from the ordinary, rarely consisting of straight lines and simple construction.
Finishing Touches NW Inc started by Jeff Whitmore, is a family owned and operated company that specializes in custom stairways and other good stuff. What is that ‘other good stuff' you may ask, well often it is whatever a client may need. It can be a mantle, unique furniture, which is one of our favorites to create, wine cellars, wine related products, kitchen stove hoods, and so on.
