Well, in addition to the review below, I just had new doors installed October 2025. My front door and a side and storm door in my basement. I am extremely pleased. It was a difficult job since nothing in my house is level! But the guys did a great job getting everything set up level and then did the trim to make it look good. They were here on time, cleaned up everything after themselves and even took off the old hardware for me. They had a can-do attitude -- helpful and respectful. Already I can tell a difference with the new front door -- it's so much quieter and no drafts! I imagine it will make a huge difference in my heating bill this winter. I highly recommend Certified Home Remodelers!
Here was my original review...I had an extensive amount of work done. I had new siding, roof, windows and garage door installed in 2021. As part of the project, I also had aluminum awnings that were removed and reinstalled after I cleaned and repainted them. One was an oversize wrap-around awning for the porch that could not be re-installed, but they rebuilt into a usable awning covering the one side of the porch. I like that even better! They worked around my schedule and coordinated all the various contractors doing each part of the work. The workers were outstanding. Friendly, helpful, dependable, considerate (cleaned up after themselves) and did a great job! I selected them to do the work on my home based on a recommendation from a friend who previously had work done on her house.

Brad and his team did an amazing job with our home installing new siding. The process of getting new siding started in the spring were Brad came out and gave us an estimate on our home. Brad was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions and concerns with starting a project this large. Brad was very patient until we got all our financing and started the project this fall. Crews came, took off all the old, installed fresh paper on the home, flashed all pipes exiting the home and replaced a couple sheets of OSB the was damaged all in a week! The crew did amazing job with the install, caulking, clean up, I mean truly impressed me and I wish I could use these guys for my jobsite!! I highly recommend Brad and his team for any home project! If you want a local business that takes time to answer all your questions and make sure your home project is done right with care and attention to detail, then Certified Home Remodelers is who you want!

We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Certified Home Remodelers which included new cabinets and counter tops, flooring, lighting, and the removal of a half-wall. Brad is clearly very selective about who he brings onto a job and the quality of the products he sells; his subcontractors were reliable and did quality work and our new Schrock cabinets are solid and well built.
If you are looking for a contractor who prioritizes high-quality results and brings in the best talent to get the job done right, we would certainly recommend Brad. We love our new kitchen!

This is the way!
This is a belated review 7 years late for a new front porch that still pleases me every day.
As far as I am concerned, Brad Jessup is the GOAT of home improvement.
My project was the addition of a covered porch on the front of my home, which truly made it look like a new and different home.
Brad is extremely meticulous and pays incredible attention to even the smallest details. He labors over construction decisions for nuances that I would not have imagined, but for his own obsession with quality as much as mine. He is very easy to work with and treated my home improvement project as if it was his own. His crew and his subcontractors are absolutely top shelf and have their own pride of craftmanship, which is very refreshing.
After 7 years signs of wear and tear are normal. But not for Certified Home Remodelers! Everything still looks new (recent snow photo included).
I'll just add a few words about the subcontractors used by Brad. Everything I said about Brad was true for them too. The concrete contractor did a fantastic job on my stamped concrete porch and walkway. I received many, many compliments on the stamped concrete, which really looks like wood. The masonry contractor did a fantastic job matching stone pieces to fit together like they were custom made.
When it was finished, my wife and I were ecstatic! If you drive by on pleasant afternoons, you might still catch us enjoying a glass of wine with cheese on the porch.
I'm glad I chose the best for my project; I hope you do too.

We had hail damage to our roof and siding. Brad worked directly with our insurance company and made sure everything was covered. His crews were fantastic, very courteous. When they left all we had was a perfect new roof and beautiful siding with no mess.

I recently contracted with Certified Home Remodelers, Inc. for a multi-day 12 window replacement project. The installation team were courteous, tidy, and professional. Each of the two-person installation team has decades of experience in the Baltimore/Washington area and were a pleasure to speak with. There were some installation challenges which were clearly communicated to me and tackled with the expertise that skilled experience brings. I'm pleased with the installation and the attention to detail. I wholeheartedly recommend that Certified Home Remodelers, Inc. be considered for home renovation projects. I'll finish by saying that I'm a repeat customer. I had sliding doors, an entry door and several windows replaced by Certified Home Remodelers in 2019. No better endorsement than a repeat customer.

I recently ordered 18 replacement windows for my residence from Certified Home Remodelers. I saw the quality of the work they performed on a neighbor's house and didn't hesitate to trust them with my order. Owner Brad walked me through my options and together we created a mixture of double and triple pane windows based on the sun exposure of each room. I wanted good energy performance ratings within my budget and Brad made it happen. My biggest take-away is there were no surprises throughout the process. The order was placed on time, the measurements were taken as scheduled, the windows arrived within six weeks as promised and installation was flawless thanks to the meticulous crew. If you want to hire an experienced, no-nonsense, reliable remodeling company, this is the place to go.

Initially we called Brad Jessup of Certified Home Remodelers to come in to discuss remodeling our outdated kitchen. However, our primary bathroom began leaking, even before we could get info about our kitchen redo! Brad was going out of town, but fit us in his busy schedule to take a look at the problem. Based on the issues he saw, he strongly recommended the bathroom take priority. The costs were in line with other contractors, but it was talking about his long career in the business and suggestions about a total renovation that convinced us to have Certified Home Remodelers do the work.
The renovation had its issues because our bathroom was a previous homeowner's or contractor's sloppy work, or perhaps it wasn't code for certain things when it was built. Fortunately, the team of specialists Brad always uses (plumbers, carpenter, flooring, window replacement, etc.) were all great, and spent the extra time fixing the old problems, a few being serious problems.
In fact, as disruptive as it is for a homeowner to have workers coming in and out of the house, without exception the guys Brad hires for these jobs are top-notch, friendly, respectful, professional, and all-around great guys who kept us informed daily with their work plans and schedule. We really appreciated that.
Brad and his company, Certified Home Remodelers, lived up to and even exceeded our expectations for the job. The bathroom looks fantastic! Although we'll have to wait on the kitchen renovations, there is every belief that the quality of work will meet or go beyond what we could hope for. Thank you, Brad Jessup and team. We had Certified Home Remodels basically re-do the outside of our home including new windows, siding, shutters, soffit and gutters. I have worked with Brad for many years. Certified Home Remodelers wrapped our house with new siding, installed new windows and gutters. The work was excellent and the crews were efficient, knowledgeable, and respectful.

Thankfully, we went with Brad's company. The brickwork, electrical, plumbing, concrete work, carpentry, etc. were extraordinary and the quality was exquisite. Brad Jessup and his company were fantastic! We finally decided to replace the cedar-siding on our house with a more durable, synthetic siding. Brad was very helpful in advising us on various products, etc. , and his crew was excellent; thorough, diligent, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. His company also replaced our deck with new decking (the floor boards) and they were also really great. Brad kept costs to a minimum, always made sure that we were in compliance with the law and had the appropriate permits, and was always in communication with me about progress. This company did an office addition, and had to deal with the City, who was more demanding, than it used to be, costing more money. But, this company got through it. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. They still have to repair the yard, due to truck tires, groves,etc. But, the process by this company is easy ,w/ few headaches, which I appreciated. The subs were trustworthy in my home, & got right to work with little down time.The additon took much longer than I anticipated, but winter weather created issues. I am considering hiring them again for a different project.

We worked with Brad from Certified Home Remodelers at the end of last year and were completed satisfied with the work. They replaced our roof, siding, several windows and a porch railing. The work for each part of the project was started on the date promised, even though we had rain during the period the work was done. Brad was communicated clearly with us and made several recommendations, explaining why he made the recommendations, for what should be done. Certified Home Remodelers was very prompt to follow up on a few small minor issues we noticed after the work was complete. Will certainly use them in the future for any more renovation needs.

My brother-in-law referred us to Brad and Bruce. They did a beautiful job on our kitchen. We purchased the cabinets from them and had Nailed It install them. Their cabinets are beautiful. We had Granite Pro install our Granite. The cabinets look beautiful with the granite we chose. Thanks Brad and Bruce. We love them!
