Lake Region Home Improvement was founded in April of 1997 by Thomas Halbur of St. Paul, MN. It was his mission to create a home improvement company that offers high quality home improvement goods and services at a fair price, to easily beat the "larger company" competition. Lake Region Home Improvement removed ice dams from our roof. We had called at least 3 other companies to do the work, but we chose Tom because they used steam to take off the ice. Other companies used pressure washers, hatchets, hammers. One company said they used chainsaws. Really? Tom explained that his roofing crews did all of the ice dam removal. He also said that if you don't use steam you can really hurt a roofs shingles and you only want experienced roofers doing this work. He also gave us a copy of his insurance.
