Tucson's Solar Guild and Citizens for Solar are two non-profit groups working together in Tucson, Arizona. The Solar Guild concentrates it's efforts on solar power outreach and education projects the community, while Citizens for Solar organizes the Solar Potlucks and solar cooking demonstrations held in town at the Valley of the Moon, Catalina State Park and Mount Lemmon, just to name a few. Join us today and gain experience in the solar electric field or help us at on of our upcoming solar cooking events right here in town.

The Solar Guild is made up of a board of Students, professionals, educators and community members interested in all forms of solar energy. Incorporated in 2011, and initiated by a group of former students of the Pima Community college SLR 101 and 102 classes. The group wanted to help others learn about solar; bring together like minded people and create dialogue among community members. To increase the use of solar energy by providing hands-on training and experiential learning opportunities for Solar Guild members in the context of installing solar energy systems for community based projects.
