To stimulate a knowledge and love of gardening, landscape design and floral design, encourage home and community beautification, promote good horticultural practices, provide education and resources, encourage protection of our environment and conservation of our natural resources, and to promote the programs of the Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. The Club makes every effort to provide programs that appeal to and educate our membership. We also strive to meet the goals and objectives of the National Garden Club and Michigan Garden Club.

What's new?

Gardeners are buying their seeds and planning their gardens. In the meantime, we're also bird and wildlife watching!

Normally we hold a raffle of home-made goods at our Holiday Luncheon and donate the proceeds to a local charity. Instead, we held a food drive of our own and gave all of it to the Food Bank at the Lakeshore Food Club. And BOY! We gathered a WHOLE BUNCH of food for our community!

While Club meetings will be on hiatus until at least March of next year, our members continue to be active, in-home and in our community. One member has created wreaths, shared inspirational photos with Club members, and then donated them to a local charity for distribution to families in need. ...

Yesterday the Mason County Garden Club held its 3rd monthly meeting via Zoom. We had a quorum and managed to vote in next year's officers. We also discussed the possibility of a Garden Walk in 2021 and the need for a chairperson. We ended the meeting with a little craft project lead by Julie...
