At A Stitch In Time, we bring the showroom to you! We are a decorating company located in Middletown, Delaware, in business since 1985. We design and create custom window treatments. Our convenient in-home consultation with our decorator, allows you to see samples of blinds, shades, verticals, shutters and fabrics in your home next to your furniture, walls and carpeting. Why spend hours in a department store looking through samples when you can see them in your own home? We take the guesswork out of choosing colors that match.

I started A Stitch In Time, in Delaware County, PA, in 1985, right around the time my daughter was born. I was making baby clothes, curtains and quilts for her, and I was searching for a way to make money from home to help pay the mortgage. I had learned how to sew in Middle School, and I majored in sewing in High School. To be honest, I was born to sew. Thats just how God made me. When God shows you the talents he's given you, you don't ask Him why, you just embrace it. So, I did. I spent several years making custom wedding gowns, prom dresses, first holy communion dresses, halloween costumes and mother of the bride dresses.
