Sam - it was a pleasure visiting the Red Door store. We will be sure and tell all our friends about it! It was so cold and bleak that I knew I had to do something. I thought of Jessica Berman, because she had sold office furniture for years and knew all about office design. Also, I had just read that Jessica, her sister Irene I had been in my new office for a year. Also, I had just read that Jessica, her sister Irene Berman-Levine, and her brother-in-law Sam Levine had opened Red Door Consignment Gallery on Paxton Street in Harrisburg.
I found myself in Harrisburg on assignment and needed furniture for my apartment in Camp Hill. I saw your advertisement in Harrisburg Magazine and decided to check your store out. What a great find. You have so many nice things, and your personalized service helped me choose stylish and functional pieces. The delivery was seamless, and Jessica your placement of the furniture worked perfectly; an entry table for my keys, a mirror to check my lipstick, a comfortable sofa and ottoman, for relaxing and a dining table with really cool chairs.
Fun! Fun! Fun! Eclectic choice of home & office goods. Will def go back as needed. Reason it got 4 stars is due to a couple of staff members. The lady that greeted us as we walked in was great- she was warm, smiled & made you feel welcome. But then there was a guy talking loudly on his cell phone with a friend or family member who must of been having a personal issue, then he proceeds to tell coworkers about it in the same exaggerated tone. We had questions about a couple items we were interested in & that staff member wasn't mean, but def not friendly. It was like she was pushing us to leave the place. Oh well, maybe someone pee'd in her Wheaties that morning. Would go back though- too much fun stuff to look through, to let 2 people spoil it.
Love this place! Unique and fun furniture! Hidden gem on Paxton Street! Jessica is helpful and knows if she has what your looking for! I stop in frequently just to browse around! As a small business owner, I love referring my clients to other small businesses! Check this place out!
What a great store with a ton of variety. It was nice dealing with a family owned store with friendly staff.
Individual needed for delivery, pick up and general set up within the store. Must be able to lift, load and deliver furniture. No evenings and every other Saturday off (closed Sundays). Must have valid drivers license, have the ability to drive a box truck and be able to pass routine drug testing.
