Woodworks Tree Service, LLC was founded in 2013 by ISA certified arborist, Michael Powell. We serve New York's vibrant Hudson Valley community. Woodworks is dedicated to providing a science-based and eco-friendly approach to modern tree care practices. Michael Powell is a lifelong rock climber and outdoor enthusiast. He received his Bachelor of Science in Geography from Appalachian State University. He is also a registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR). Following college, Mike began his career with trees as a wildland firefighter with the National Park Service in California.

Woodworks Tree Service did an EXCEPTIONAL job removing and pruning a good amount of trees on my mother's property impressively in just two days. Mike and his crew were very efficient, professional, thorough, and friendly- there is no question that they know what they're doing and are highly skilled at it! The work being done was carefully explained to me by Mike at every stage from inception to completion and his estimate for the job was fair and reasonable. Anyone who is looking for high quality work and value for their money will hire this company. Keep up the great work, guys!

Mike and his crew were absolutely wonderful from my first contact with Mike to the completion of the job. I contacted Mike for a quote he responded within hours; worked around my schedule to come out to see what I needed. Emailed me a quote within 24 hours (a very reasonable quote for the amount of work.) I made contact with the appropriate parties in order for Mike and his crew to have access to adjoining property. Once that was complete we scheduled a start date. Mike and his crew arrived on time and always were very professional and considerate. Over the course of 3 days of work they always made sure the grounds were cleaned up prior to them leaving for the day. It took 3 days to complete the job but each and every day his crew were absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend MIke for your tree needs. Thank you Woodworks Tree Service for a great job.

Mike Powell and his crew are amazing. They did a wonderful job, left the job site clean and finished earlier than expected. Woodworks is fully insured. Don't be fooled by companies who claim to be insured. If you do not get an insurance document with your name on it from the insurance company itself, do not use that tree service. And don't consider getting a tree cut down close to the house without insurance. It's not worth it. Mike Powell gives free estimates, has great prices, and goes the extra mile.
