Bayview Garden Nurseries is a family owned and operated landscape design, installation and maintenance company. Harry and Betty Cummings founded Bayview Garden Nurseries in 1952 by Harry and Betty Cummings. Their home was in the Bayview tract section of Pleasantville, NJ. Hence, the name Bayview Garden Nurseries was born. Harry began his business working out of the trunk of his car. His tools were a powerless push mower, hand shears, a spade and a broom. As the company grew, expansion became necessary.
