Land Escapes specializes in planting unique yet hardy plants for your garden and landscape. We prefer to use plant varieties that are not widely used by other landscaping companies so your property doesn't look like everyone else's on the block. We have previously "trialed" nearly all of the plants we use in our designs to ensure they grow well in our climate and soil conditions before we plant them in your garden. Our focus is creating a landscape with year round interest by combining plants that are evergreen and deciduous, have contrasting foliage colors, texture and form and will provide years of enjoyment.
Land Escapes utilizes many hardscape materials. These materials consist of any "hard" material such as rock, boulders, retaining wall blocks, flagstone and more. Adding some hardscape items to your landscape design provides another element and dimension to softscape options (plants, mulch, etc.). We are NOT fans of using river rock as a mulch option in landscape beds, but understand sometimes it's the best option depending on the site. We do love to incorporate boulders, flagstone and cobblestone so just ask us for some ideas about what would look good at your property!
LAND ESCAPES creates beautiful and unique landscape designs that break the mold of "cookie-cutter" designs. We use a variety of plants and materials that are appropriate for the area. Our plant choices are unique with strong focus being placed on foliage color and texture. We love incorporating plants with blue, burgundy, gold and black foliage and believe a successful landscape is one that has lots of color even when there's not one flower in bloom. LAND ESCAPES Monthly Maintenance Plans (MMP) are available if you're in need of continuous maintenance of your landscape throughout the season. We offer 5 plan options and can help you choose the best one for the needs of your home or business. During each scheduled visit, Land Escapes will perform maintenance tasks such as weeding, leaf clean up, tree limbing, shrub pruning, hedge trimming, deadheading of flowers, chemical applications (upon request, we don't apply chemicals unless you've approved it), blowing off walkways and driveways and other tasks as you feel are needed.
LAND ESCAPES is available to decorate your home, business or outdoor setting for special events such as weddings, graduations, anniversary and birthday parties, school events or office parties. LAND ESCAPES provides holiday, seasonal and special event decorating creating festive displays inside and out. LAND ESCAPES delivers and creates custom fall displays using a variety of items including unique and fun pumpkins, squash, gourds, haybales, cornstalks, assorted colors of Mums, Flowering Kale, Ornamental Peppers and more. Lights may be added to displays to light them up at night for extra appeal. We invite additional fall decorating requests to give you that festive fall or Halloween display that's unique to your property.
