Willie 'Woo Woo' Wong Park is a historical public open space, serving the Chinatown community since 1927. The design celebrates the park's history through restoration of the Pagoda, preservation of murals, and new dragon and phoenix play equipment.
In collaboration with San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, CMG engaged the community through a series of multi-lingual intercept surveys, public workshops, focus groups and meetings with local organizations to design Willie 'Woo Woo' Wong Park and meet the community's needs and desires.
