Oz Moving & Storage started in 1993 with a radical promise to our customers. Our founder Avi Oz thought too many moving companies in NYC were not treating their customers fairly. Fed up with their unscrupulous practices, he set out to change the industry for good. Avi founded his own moving business with the radical goal of making a moving company truly dedicated to serving its populace. Fast forward to 2019, and Oz Moving & Storage has been in business for over 25 years. Oz's rise to the top of the NYC moving company podium is a result of our tireless hard work.

Since its humble beginnings in 1993, Oz Moving & Storage has grown from a single truck and a handful of employees to become one of New York City's largest and most reputable moving and storage companies. Currently operating with 50 trucks and 200 employees, Oz Moving performs 15,000 moves each year, treating every one as the MOST important. Additionally, Oz offers a full range of support services, including: Relocation Consultants, On-Site Estimators, In-House Carpenters and Furniture Restorers.

For more than two decades, Oz Moving & Storage has been a leader in residential and commercial moving services. We've been successful because we're more than just a neighborhood mover; we are neighborhood residents, neighborhood employees, and neighborhood business owners. This is our neighborhood too. Oz annually gives out an Oz Moving Scholarship to a local college student who demonstrates virtue and character in our essay contest.
