Whether you need just a few pieces of grass or looking to replace y our entire lawn, Gladiator Sod offers the best quality sod at best prices in New Port Richey, Trinity, Hudson, Port Richey, Clearwater areas and beyond. Gladiator Sod branched off from Landscapes Unlimited in the 1990s. Our retail nursery and garden center were the original family business; however, high demand in the area for quality grass at affordable prices gave us an idea for the new sod business. Since then, Gladiator Sod grew beyond any expectations, yet it perfectly complements the original focus on gardens, and offers one-stop shopping for all your landscaping needs.

Those who hope for stellar performance form their sod selection must consider the irrigation system an important part of the maintenance process. Truly, one may lay the sturdiest Bahia available, fertilize it properly, and mow it regularly, and problems may still arise if the irrigation needs are not met. To ensure that your grass continues to thrive, follow the irrigation system tips outlined below.

Many landscapers in Florida treat sod installation as a mindless process. They buy some grass, clear a lawn or median space, and stick the grass on top of loose dirt. Though many people believe that is all that is needed in order for sod to thrive, sod actually requires more attention during the installation process. Make sure your sod flourishes. Follow the tips outlined below, and contact us for more information.

I want to say thank you to Gladiator Sod for my new lawn. They are professional, courtesy, and very helpful when it comes to lawn care. Their price and service was more than fare and the quality of the sod was above excellent. Thank you for the wonderful service and highly recommend your company to anyone in need of sod. Thanks again, we are extremely happy. Gina and Stacey.

This is such an amazing place to get your sod done they are so thorough and they clean up after themselves and so nice to be around very respectful crew :! Keep up the good work!

When you own a successful landscaping business you need solid reliable employees. Unfortunately some are not so reliable which can jeopardize and taint customer impressions. I drove 35 minutes to get just 40 pieces of Floratam sod. I arrived at 7am when they opened to find out there was no available sod due to an unreliable employee who suddenly quit interrupting normal inventory delivery. The owner arrived just before I left & turned a customer who was disappointed & about to be inconvenienced (having to come back the next day) into a very happy & satisfied customer by doing what good owners-customer oriented owners do-she authorized my 40 pieces to be released to take care of my issue. She listened, warmly understood & made an executive decision resolve my dilemma! Kudos for taking care of the little customer-will definitely return & recommend! Thank you! Dr Mark Hanshaw

Fallen oak leaves do not kill grass! Leave them on the ground as mulch and natural fertilizer if you do not mind the look of an untidy lawn. It really is a matter of aesthetics rather than necessity.
