President, David Firestone served as a Regional Vice President at the National level, as well as participated in numerous national committees and task force work. Commonwealth Electric of the Midwest is a proud partner of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). Our highly skilled and trained electricians are IBEW members and receive their training thru the NJATC (National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee).

In 1947, the company opened up a branch in Lincoln, Nebraska and in 1987, the four original owners founded Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest.
