Headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, Total Electric specializes in industrial and commercial wiring and power solutions, with an emphasis on industrial controls and plant maintenance. We believe that long-lasting, durable relationships create the most value for all parties - our customers, our employees, and Total Electric. Since 1984, that belief has translated into ongoing relationships with some of the largest industrial firms in Kansas and surrounding states. Total Electric approaches each engagement with a singular purpose - to help our industrial and commercial clients realize safe and reliable electrical service that supports their business operations.

At Total Electric, Safety is our first priority. We have a comprehensive safety program and enjoy an excellent safety record as a result of it. We work with our customers to determine their plant safety needs and requirements, and we work diligently at enforcing those requirements with our employees. Our safety program and excellent safety record have always allowed us to qualify for industrial plant safety standards. Total Electric relies heavily on the safety standards and guidelines of several organizations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).

As an organization, we strive to meet the standards of performance for our industry and our customers. We take a "best practice" approach to developing our business, project management, quality, and safety processes by using the standards and guidelines of a number of industry associations and organizations. We also understand that our people are our greatest asset. In order to provide the highest level of service for our clients, we invest heavily in training for our employees.
