Dealing with equipment that is not labeled to US standards? Shermco can help. Our knowledgeable and highly qualified field engineers can test and certify through our affiliation with TUV Rheineland, a nationally recognized test lab. Shermco is authorized and licensed to perform field evaluation and labeling of electrical equipment. With this on-site service, we can satisfy the local jurisdiction. In addition, we are recognized by OSHA as a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) to UL/ANSI/NFPA standards.
Our wind field service technician crews are only the beginning of the Shermco renewable energy story. With over 40 years as a leader for the electrical utility industry, our dedicated wind turbine service team can repair or remanufacture any brand of generator used in wind applications and has many styles of generators in our growing unit exchange program. We also offer extensive field service support including troubleshooting and fault analysis, uptower repairs, and the removal and replacement of generators, gearboxes, and rotor systems.
The agricultural industry turns to Shermco to keep steep mills, grind mills, refineries, and medium-voltage substations operating at peak efficiency. Our acceptance testing and commissioning of electric power systems are vital prior to the initial start-up of steep mills, grind mills, and refineries. Equally important is a comprehensive and relevant maintenance practice after start-up, to assure continued reliability and performance of your electrical equipment. As a NETA-accredited company, we are experts in determining the degree of testing required, including what tests need to be performed and what equipment should be tested.
