Antique Rug Restoration
Specialized restoration for fragile or high-value rugs involves precise reweaving, fringe replacement, and edge stabilization. Our artisans use hand-spun wool matches to repair moth damage and structural wear. This service focuses on maintaining historical authenticity while reinforcing usability for cherished heirlooms.
Oriental Rug Sales
We offer a curated selection of authentic and reproduction Oriental rugs, including Gabbeh, Bidjar, and formal floral designs. Our inventory features handwoven pieces with vegetable dyes and traditional patterns. Owner George Grillo Oriental Rug Outlet & Care personally selects rugs based on artistic merit, quality, and value for diverse decorating needs.
Museum Curatorial Services
This specialized service addresses non-functional rugs with high artistic or historical value. Our methods focus on preservation rather than restoration, using archival materials and techniques to prevent deterioration. Ideal for rugs displayed as decorative art rather than floor coverings.
