Mazlone's passion for woodworking dates back to his early years when his grandmother gave him a small allowance for cleaning and polishing her wood furniture. Little did he know how that small act would have such an impact on his life. After graduating with acquired skills in business, accounting, and sales he turned his attention to woodworking as a livelihood. The combination of the two led to the formation of Re-New-It in Fairmont, North Carolina in 1974.
