Mountain Moving & Delivery

As with most big decisions, our biggest decision as a Northern Colorado moving company took a while to be made-fifteen years, to be exact. All the way back in 2001, after almost a decade of working on an independent contractor basis for one of the largest household goods shipping companies in the region, it was time. The decision was made: We moved out from under the shadow of "big brother's" thumb and became Mountain Moving. Unlike a lot of moving companies in northern Colorado, we're locally owned!

We only use late model, state-of-the-art and built-to-order trucks for our moving services. We have each truck made specifically for shipping household goods, with full 26 foot long boxes (no less than 24 feet) and two or three feet hanging over the cab, as you may see with other companies. Inside, each truck is over eight feet wide and tall with translucent ceilings that allow light to pass through the entire length of the box. The polyurethane finished, oak hardwood floors safeguard your furniture as it is moved onto the truck.

This level of Mountain Moving's services aids those who have a rental truck, but need help either loading or unloading it. In this case, a two-man crew will bring the necessary tools and moving dollies. Keep in mind that, if you need packing materials (paper pads, rope, shrink wrap, tape, etc.), you'll need to let us know ahead of time. This service accommodates those who want to pack and break down all of their own furniture and just need of a truck and some strong movers. Mountain Moving will send two movers and a loading rental truck fully equipped with pads, tools, and equipment out to your location, no problem.
