For all those who knew Tom, he passed away unexpectedly this past Sunday. He was our Valentine (hire date) :-) and the operator of our 30 ton National boom truck. He will be missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife Julie, and their children, and families.

Just another day at Hampton Roads Crane & Rigging. HRCR recovered an excavator that had sunk in a hole at Langley Air Force Base. The excavator was unable to work its way out of the hole. Due to its proximity to a gas line, HRCR was called in to pull it out. HRCR used a 100 ton winch truck to pull it out.
