Outdoor Escapes is family owned and operated by Eddie Tanner, a native of Fauquier County. Eddie graduated from North Carolina State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Horticultural Science with a concentration in Design in 1998. Upon graduating, Eddie excelled as a Landscape Designer for a landscape design/build firm based in Northern Virginia, for nine years. Prior to that, he worked with his father at his Warrenton, Virginia based construction company. While a Landscape Designer, Eddie continued his education to become an ICPI Certified Concrete Paver Installer and Virginia Certified Horticulturist.

With over 18 years experience in the landscape design field and numerous award winning gardens, Eddie can create and insall the perfect design to complement the hardscape features installed. If you are looking for a more formal boxwood garden or a "floppy" English garden feel, we can create a garden to suit your needs.
