Judge Matt Sebesta is a lifelong resident of Brazoria County. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Matt is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Registered Professional Land Surveyor. In 1994, he was selected as the Outstanding Young Engineer of the Year by the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. Public service started for Matt in 1990 when he was appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Angleton. Matt is in his 28th year of elected office, currently serving his 2nd term as County Judge after his stints of serving as a Councilman, Mayor and County Commissioner.
