Thank you for taking the time to learn about our company. Who are we, and what do we do? Well, we are a group of rug lovers that specializes in cleaning and restoring beautiful, hand-made rugs. Yes, we clean all rug types, but our specialty is rugs that other companies do not have the experience or ability to clean safely. I'm sure the most important thing you want to know is: can I trust these guys with my fine rugs? Maybe we can answer that question by providing some info about ourselves. The short answer is, yes, we clean and restore the most delicate and valuable rugs.

We are an oriental and fine rug cleaning company located in Kansas City, but provide rug cleaning for many areas outside the KC area. Rugs are cleaned at our facility located in Olathe, KS. We provide pick up and delivery to Topeka and Lawrence for a small charge. There are many steps taken prior to cleaning. Most rugs are "dusted" mechanically or by using pressurized air. Once dusted, the rug is cleaned with fresh water and cleaning agents made specifically for the rugs fiber content. For example, we do not use the same detergents on synthetic rugs as we do wool, or silk, or viscose rugs.

We use a cleaning system called immersion rug washing. Rugs are laid flat on our wash floor, then gently agitated and squeegeed until the water coming out is 100% clear. Loose dyes are controlled through chemistry and copious amounts of water, so no dye migration occurs. In fact, we can often fix previously damaged rugs that have dye bleed issues. Although we specialize in cleaning Oriental and hand-made rugs, we clean all rug types, even rugs that are not considered Oriental rugs. Most rugs are washed individually, by hand, in a what's called an immersion rug cleaning process.
