In 1987, TRS Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. opened its doors in a small warehouse in Amherst. The company set out to "Treat each person as if they were our only customer, " and that became the company motto after only a few years. TRS began with 8 employees and focused on commercial, light commercial, low temp refrigeration, temperature control systems and Residential HVAC in all capacities. The owner, Timothy Schultz, and his first employee, Paul Robertson, are still a very active part of operations today.
