When the designer-client relationship is strong, the project is more likely to be successful. My small firm affords me the luxury of plenty of face time starting with an initial meeting and subsequent shopping trips. I find inspiration in this process as well as in the home's architecture and, of course, the possibilities of the space. My passion for color, knowledge of antiques, and background in fine arts inform all of my recommendations. The goal is to leave the client with a spectacular finished room that is warm and personal; never "decorated."

As museum director, I designed and assembled a wide variety of period rooms. This drew on all aspects of my fine arts background in architecture, textiles, antiques, and color theory as well as painting and even music. Today, my firm specializes in fine furnishings and floor coverings for dining rooms, living areas, and master suites. We also provide extensive remodeling and space planning services with solid expertise in kitchens and baths. My goal is to create clean, architecturally appropriate design while educating my clients and pushing the limits of the space.
