Founded in 1996, Western Star Nurseries is a trusted wholesale plant marketplace for landscapers, developers and retail nurseries. We are committed to supplying a diversified selection of quality ornamental trees and shrubs at competitive prices. With locations in the East Bay and south Sacramento, we are able to ship throughout Northern California, often within 24 hours. The Western Star staff, many of whom have been with the company since its start, bring with them many years of nursery and customer service experience.

All companies begin with an idea and a dream. In 1996, Western Star Nurseries was founded by Bob and Sally Painter. Their legacy is now continued by new Owner and President Tom Bradley. The success of the company is due in large part to our dedicated team of employees, many of whom have been with us for over twenty years.
