Our greenhouse showcases the most beautiful orchids, kalanchoes and bromeliads year-round and other flowering plants seasonally. We always have something in bloom! During our long growing season the nursery is in full color, packed with healthy annuals, perennials, herbs, shrubs and statuary.
Oak Street Garden Shop and Local Market (205 870-7542) has been located in Crestline Village in the Mountain Brook suburb of Birmingham, Alabama since 1990. The past years have seen it grow from a tent in the middle of a city parking lot with a few flats of annuals to a vibrant member of the retail community. Owner Billy Angell credits this growth to his belief that quality plants, creativity, and excellent customer service are the key to success. Readers of the Birmingham News agreed in 2004 and 2005, rating Oak Street "Best Garden Shop in Birmingham".

All of us at Oak Street Garden Shop send our deepest sympathy. We’ll never forget Charles Mann’s friendship through the years, and all the beautiful plants he provided to so many. He will be very deeply missed. Sending strength and love to you all 💔
