Community-supported agriculture(CSA), is a system that connects the producer and consumers within the food system more closely by allowing the consumer to subscribe to the harvest of a certain farm or group of farms. Be a part of the local farming movement and support farmers by signing up for our weekly CSA shares. You will receive 8-10 locally grown fruits, veggies, herbs, and a lot more goodies every week! Our garden center at W.S. Jenks & Son in NE DC serves all your gardening needs, all year long.

We help schools across the city utilize their green space and activate successful gardening programs. Learn more about how your school can get involved in the urban farming revolution! There are several ways to get involved. If you would like to learn more or sign up your school, please email info@cultivatethecity.com. 1. Affiliate School: Joining CTC as an affiliate school is the most impactful way to contribute agriculture, education, and support to the community. Partner with the school to host special events such as Strawberry & Salads Greens week where students are exposed to local, fresh strawberries and different greens.

Our rooftop farm in NE DC provides the community with gardening resources, plants, educational events & classes, & support for Cultivate the City's citywide growing operations. Now offering Pick-ups. We specialize in indoor/greenhouse growing solutions. We offer parts and resources for you to build, maintain, and grow your perfect hydro/aquaponics systems.

Our school garden programs offer students opportunities to plant, grow, harvest, manage, and sell their own produce, learning invaluable lessons along the way. Learn sustainable gardening techniques for your own gardens with our workshops and classes. We grow and help YOU grow pesticide-free, locally-grown food. No matter how small or large your space is, we help you set up, maintain, and harvest fresh produce year-round.
