Plantorium Greenhouse & Nursery plants are grown in Cold-Frame greenhouses, which are opened completely in the day and closed for protection at night. Because our plants are grown in Cold-Frames, they are naturally acclimated to our climate and there is no risk of transplant shock as you plant them. This is a little known place that supplies most of the greenery to the Fort Collins area landscaping industry. They specialize in the most beautiful and exotic plants around. The best part of their greenery is the fact that the plants are grown from seed here, so the plants are already acclimated to the area.
Since 1971, when Dean and Merilyn bought the business, the Plantorium Greenhouse & Nursery family has served the local community in Fort Collins, CO and surrounding areas with quality plants. Today, Dean's and Merilyn's son, Jim, and his wife, Cindy, operate the business, continuing the tradition of quality service and excellent plants that Dean and Merilyn began. Their children, Curtis, Melanie, and Sara, their son-in-law, Nate, and Jim's brother Dan work throughout the year to ensure that Plantorium Greenhouse & Nursery customers have access to the best plants in the area.
