Quilted Gardens has fresh made wreaths and bundles of fresh cut greens, all made from greens from our farm. Go to our online store and order these and other decorating items including ornaments and Iowa made leather door knob bells and straps. We can make arrangements for delivery in Des Moines or Indianola, or pick up here at the Nursery in Indianola.
Quilted Gardens and Nursery started as an outgrowth of collecting and growing hostas, interesting perennials unusual trees and shrubs, and an interest in unusual conifers. We are and independent nursery specializing in unusual and collector perennials, trees, shrubs and conifers. Though we have created gardens that are dedicated to dwarf and miniature conifers, additional dwarf trees and shrubs, we provide more than just dwarf material to our customers. Unusual conifers, trees and shrubs are a rapidly expanding portion of our nursery and gardens.
Over the next few months I'll be posting some of the new plants we will have available this spring. Starting with a couple new Hellebores, "Blushing Bridesmaid"and "Tropical Sunset". These are great shade perennials, and we've found that if you can give them some morning sun they tend to be more robust
